Curriculum vitae
I am a PhD candidate at the INM specializing in advanced electron microscopy of soft and hard interfaces at the atomic and nanoscale. Originally from Nepal, I obtained my master’s degree in physics from Freie Universität Berlin.
My goal is to push the boundaries of electron diffraction analysis in application to amorphous or semicrystalline functional material and to correlate their local crystal structure with physical properties. I am particularly excited that through this work, I can combine my skills in physics with materials science, and state-of-the-art microscopy to reveal fundamental mechanisms that drive functional performance at the smallest scales.
