Mechanical & Thermal Characterization

The Core Facility Mechanical and Thermal Characterization provides expertise in classical mechanical testing, advanced rheology, and thermal analysis. We support the quantitative characterization of materials under load, deformation, flow, and temperature, including uniaxial tensile and compression testing, rheological measurements under controlled sample environments, as well as TGA and DSC analysis. The facility offers consultation, method development, measurement services, hands-on training, and data evaluation for INM researchers and external partners.
