MISSION
TRANSFER

Transforming Materials
Innovation into Market Impact

At INM, we pioneer advanced materials for health and quality of life, and materials for energy and resource efficiency. To this aim, we develop materials-based technologies for applications in Biotechnology, Microelectronics, and Climate-Neutral Mobility. Through interdisciplinary research, the use of Artificial Intelligence, and close collaboration with industrial partners, we accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into innovations. In doing so, INM contributes to the objectives of Germany’s Hightech Agenda Deutschland (HTAD) and the innovation strategy of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) by advancing key enabling technologies and fostering their transfer into practical applications.
