Scientific Units

The scientific work at INM is organized within scientific units with expertise in materials chemistry and physics, synthetic and cell biology and process engineering. The SUs perform research independently in alignment with INM’s mission and contribute to the continuous development of INM’s competence areas. Research Departments define the long-term core scientific competencies of INM and Research Groups temporarily reinforce topics of strategic relevance and provide opportunities for career development of scientists.
