The Board of Trustees supervises the institute’s essential financial, structural, and organizational issues. Essential areas of responsibility include the approval of the scientific and budget plans (Program Budget), the annual financial statement and the activity report, and the appointment of INM Directors. It consists of up to eleven members with representatives of the State of Saarland, the German Federal Government, and Saarland University, a representative of INM’s scientific employees and independent personalities from science and industry.
